Gasping

Yesterday I went for another run by the bay W3:S2. This time I went alone (seems like all my running mates are either getting ill or injured). At first I really had difficulty breathing, I felt like I really wasn't into it. But I think the second part running back was easier. I'm just glad I did it. I hope tomorrow's run will be better!

Great

Today I went running with Re to the track by the bay. We did the first session of week 3. We ran for a minute and a half between walks. We just felt we could go on forever! It was great and very satisfying,

In the kitchen area, I found a great recipe to do baked brown rice with some carrots and onions. I've also tried some great recipes for chicken with peppers and one for chicken, mushrooms and spinach. Delicious!

Oh, and no coke.

Happy

Wow! It's been already 3 weeks without Coca-Cola and I'm feeling great!! I don't even think about it anymore. Well... just occasionally.

This week I also went to the farmer's market and loaded up on all kinds of fruits and vegetables. I'm searching for new recipes that include lots of veggies and desserts with fruits. My husband and I didn't really eat any fruits at all and ate very few vegetables. I don't know how our bodies managed to survive in good health. My hubby used to laugh at what I ate and said he didn't understand why I wasn't fat. I ate potato chips daily and about 2L of coke a day!!

So the last 3 weeks have been fairly healthy-eating. Well... mostly this last week. I've been also trying this week to reduce the amount of meat (we are bit meat lovers). And I cal already tell I'm losing weight! I'm so happy.

This week I finished Week 2 on the 13 Week running program. =D
